It had been long months, and the pups were becoming more and more of a handful everyday. She was glad to have her mate at her side, or she would have done pooped out by now. Going outside seemed to be the biggest excitement for the four little...well, growing bundles of joy. Watching though...that was another matter in itself, letting them explore was giving her a heart attack. A worrying mother was probably a handful on Grifan.
Sahara sat near the den entrance as she watched the most curious of pups bound about almost with a sensory overload type behavior. Then her eyes would dart for the other three, then back at her only boy. She let loose a heavy sigh as her ears seemed to stay permanently erect, every-so-often, they would swivel in the other pup's directions. Another sigh came from within her, but this time a small hint of a whimper came out. She had to constantly remind herself that it was okay for them to be out and it would happen sooner or later.
Her eyes looked to her loving mate, then back at the pups, "There isn't too many dangers out here, right?" She asked as she quickly stood up in alarm. Audra bounded into a large thing of grass making her invisible to her mother, but soon reappeared making Sahara relax again.

Grifan seemed just fine letting the pups do what they wished to do as long as they were in range, he knew that the pups would be alright to be outside now after being cooped up for so long in the den for so long, it was about time that they got a chance to stretch out their legs and run around for a bit. Of course he would have went and played with the four for a bit, but to see Sahara in such a worried state made him stay by her side and give her comfort.
He always felt nervous whenever Sahara was ever like this, and it was always when the pups ever tried something that was new to them. He knew that she was only worried about their safety, though he did sort of want her to allow them to be a bit more independent. "There isn't too many dangers out here, right? When he heard that he looked over to his worried mate and gave a smile to her, "Don't worry Sahara, their shouldn't be anything but a couple of rabbits around the area." He told her as he rubbled his head softly against her cheek. "And even if their were, you know that I wouldn't allow them to touch any of the pups." He reassured her and watched the pups play around carelessly like any playful pup should be.

The moment young Tempest stepped out into the wide world, he knew he never wanted to go back inside. He tore off across the grass the moment he realized that his father wasn't about to stop him. He sprinted across the space with little or no regard for anyone else.
Even so, things quickly grew boring for the young wolf and he quickly located his more dominate sister. Dropping into a clumsy crouch, he began to sneak up on Audra who was now hiding in a large patch of grass.
The second she reappeared, Tempest tore off after her in an attempt to bowl her over. His legs were on the longer and thinner end of average for a puppy, and his personality was really beginning to develop. Basically, he enjoys a challenge and often takes on things even if it's really impossible for him to win. He's reckless and distractable with a very short attention span. He tends to stick up for his siblings but he usually seems to do it more out of boredom and to not let his siblings get the attention.

Continuing her watch of the pups Sahara began to calm down letting herself relax. Sliding down into a laying position she took in her mate's words, realizing nothing could happen to the pups, both her and her mate were more than enough to protect them. Yet, still one could never know what dangers lay ahead. Her bright eyes watched as Tempest and Audra played. Stella on the other hand stuck close to her sister Alexis.
Audra was side swiped by her brother and knocked over, making her growl in anger lifting her lip and exposing her sharp little puppy fangs. Stretching out her wings she re-balances herself and looks to her brother with vengeance. Flapping her wings as fast as she can she tries to lift herself off the ground, as she runs toward him with furiously flapping wings she looks like a crazed pup bent on destruction.

Grifan of course did have some worries for Audra, it seemed that the more her personality grew out, the more aggressive she became to her siblings as well have the look of it. Of course he loved her as much as the other pups and will surely love her always, but he won't want Audra becoming a bad wolf when she grew up knowing that their were dangers that she might accidentally come by if she was act like she did now.
"What would you think would happen to Audra is she grew up Sahara?" He asked his mate who was laying near his side as he looked down at her for just a moment and looked back up at their pups again so that way their was no way of them getting themselves hurt under his watch, though he did keep one of his ears to the side to listen what his mate had to say about his question.

Once the playful pup had bowled his larger sister over, her scrambled off and away, only turning and looking back once he felt he was far enough away. He swatted the ground with his forepaws, his rump up in the air. His sister seemed rather angry rather than playful, so Tempest hopped up and darted forwards, straight at the steamroller that was Audra. He wasn't a coward by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, he would normally be considered rather reckless.
Only a few feet away from Audra, the daring pup attempted a pounce, aiming straight at his sister's muzzle. Compared to his sister, he seemed rather small, though her flared wings and the fact that she was at least partially in the air certainly helped her end more than it did Tempest's.

It was like a clash of the titans, Tempest and Audra, but Audra's temper always got the best of her. Once the crash happened, she went down and so did he, and she did not hesitate in taking her revenge upon her brother's flesh. Her sharp fangs sunk into his shoulder and she thrashed back and forth. Growling and snarling could be heard between them, but soon after she was satisfied with the punishment upon her brother she went ahead and played with him. Bounding away and running from her brother for now, then turning and snapping at him. Her wings stayed tucked to her body awaiting her brothers attack upon her.
Sahara looked toward her mate curiously, "I, frankly, don't know. I think we just need to teach her to control her anger, my love. I really don't think she is a bad pup, just a short-tempered one..." Or at least she hoped. After seeing the revenge her daughter put upon her brother she was unsure of her words. However, there was still time for Audra to grow out of this attitude of hers.

Upon hearing what Sahara had to say to him about their daughter he looked at her for a moment but then looked back at the four pups again and just let out a sigh. "I hope your right." He muttered under his breath as he looked back at the four pups again to make sure that nothing was to happen with any of them. Though with all of them pretty much paired up with others it seemed that they would less likely get into any serious trouble, however it was always likely in the winter time that you could sometimes be possibly wrong.

Tempest yelped and squirmed when Audra's fangs bit into his shoulder. It hurt! Soon enough though, she got her fill of hurting him and leaped off and initiated play. Tempest's shoulder hurt, but not enough for him to not want to play.
In puppyish bounds, he bounded after his fleeing sister. He skidded to a stop as she turned and snapped at him, scrambling back momentarily so as to avoid the fangs. Even if she did not want to hurt him so bad this time, he still was wary of the sharp canines that snapped shut not inches from his muzzle. In response, the brave pup sneezed in Audra's face, before attempting to dart around her and grab her tail. Already he was exhibiting slightly advanced muscle control, so his agility was probably a bit better than his sister's.

She did too, she hoped she was right about her own child, but deep inside she had the feeling her daughter was becoming an evil wolf. Well...or she could be just a dominant female. As she watched the two play her eyes wondered to the other two..who were missing..What!? Sahara stood up quickly, "Grifan! Where are Stella and Alexis!?" Her heart was racing like mad as she went into a panicked frenzy. Her nose going right to the ground and searched. Soon with her heart rate high, Sahara's electrical powers were surging through her like wild fire.
The two girls had wondered off into the meadow playing and chasing one another unaware of the fact they wondered too far from safety. Playing about in the long grass, it was unknown to them that danger was lurking about in this very meadow. It was a large adult fox hunting for rodents. He was just a few feet away when he caught the scent of pups, his head raised and he forgot about the rodents and went pup hunting instead.
When Audra heard about her sister's missing she almost did not care, what could go wrong? But the moment she saw her mother's reaction she knew that maybe something could go wrong, she knew from everything she saw, mom was always right and the only one she really listened to. Suddenly she decided it was best to find those stupid sisters of hers. With a large huff she took off in hopes to find those idiots.

Grifan never knew that the other two pups had gone missing, he had his eyes locked onto the other two who wrestled on with one another, it was Sahara that made him notice that the others were gone, of course he stood up tall and began to scan the lands around him. Since he was much taller than his mate he thought that he would find the two pups easily, but their was no sign of any of the two. He tried not to show his signs of fear, knowing that his mate was freaking out about this as it is, he just didn't want her to worry even more.
"Don't worry, I'm sure they didn't get too far from here. I'll go look overhead, you get the other two and look at the ground." He said with his wings spread open wide and began to run until he was able to lift himself off of the ground and flew high into the sky around the grasslands to see if he could spot the two from where he was.

Tempest's ears perked up as his mother stared paniking. He wasn't sure why until he heard his sibling names. He glanced around for them, and then tore off in the direction he thought they might be. There was so many new scents, that at first it was difficult for him to pick up the familliar one of his family. He wanted to help, he hadn't liked the fear his mother had shown. He raced forward, in the general direction of his sisters. He might have been off a little, but he didn't really care one way or another.
A new scent assulted him and he stopped suddenly. It wasn't like the rabbit prey that his parents had fed him before, and it wasn't like his family, or the grass or the flowers. It was a heavy, musky smell. Though Tempest didn't know it, he'd just gotten his first scent of fox.

Right when Sahara was about to put the two right into the den, they too vanished. She was beginning to feel like an inadequate mother, going about to gather her two other pups while Grifan goes to find the two females. Her nose following after Tempest, just as she heard a yelp then a snarl. Sahara's head shot up from the tall grass and she ran as fast as her legs could carry her, the symbol upon her shoulder illuminated as the ground beneath her grounded her electrical impulse. The ebony fae was furious and panicked all at the same time.
The fox bowed his head to the ground as he watched the two pups play, waiting for the right time to pounce. They were so oblivious to his presence, it almost too easy, definitely easier than finding mice. A grin came upon him when one pup tackled the other, the fox went for it, leaping right upon the pup, Alexis while she had Stella down upon the ground. Right as his fangs went to go into the white pup, another came out of nowhere, knocking him off and falling over. This pup had wings and was meaning business, she had head-butted the fox off her sister, and with a snarl said, "No one messes with my sister's other than me!" Her eyes locked onto the fox with a sharp-toothed snarl."You better git' you worthless canine!" Just then Sahara showed up onto the scene right behind Audra silently flashing her fangs, she was so angered by this scene. A fox almost eating her babies. The ebony wolf's eyes were glowing a bright blue and her body was giving off heat from the static that built up upon her.
The fox was almost not scared by the pup, but then as the black apparition showed up behind the pup, he scampered to his feet fear ridden. Running away he hoped she would not give chase...

In large circles Grifan, flew around nervously from one place to another in hopes to find his pups, he knew that even if one went missing for good it would mean endless sorrow for Sahara, something that he didn't want to happen to his dear mate. Though with the tall grasses it was difficult to see any small animals run around from up where he was, but he kept on trying to find his pups no matter how long and hard he had to do this for.
Suddenly he spotted something moving in the grass and had moved into the shorter grass, it was Temptest who was probably looking for his siblings. With a sigh he began to glide down towards his son and landed right in front of him and picked him up lightly with his jaws. That was when he had noticed Sahara with the three other pups with something running away from them, and went over to join up with the other four.

Tempest had started running forwards again when his father dropped down in front of him. He struggled hard, but it was no use. The size difference was just too much. He finally submitted and fell limp in his father's jaws.
When they reached where his siblings and mom were, her stared it up again, not wanting to be held up like a rotten pup when his sister, particularly Audra, was on the ground. It simply wasn't fair in his eyes.
He tried to turn around and nip at Griffan's muzzle, kicking his oversized paws in the air and twisting around in annoyance. Let me down! He didn't voice his thoughts though, remaining quiet and waiting to be dropped.
