Shadow jumped back a bit when another version of him appeared next to him. After all, it isn't every day you get to see yourself like that. He went up and sniffed the shadow wolf cautiously, seeing how it would react. "Huh, what can it do?" He asked, still sniffing at the doppelganger. After a few seconds, he looked around at the other things she had created, except the cloud, which had passed over the horizon already. "Are they actually real, or just illusions?" He asked after examining the new objects. He sat down again and smiled a big, wolfy smile. "I like it, it would be very helpful in any number of situations." He said after another moments pause. He never took his eyes off of his double. For a moment, nothing happened. This was followed by several more nothings happening. It continued in this fashion as he waited for her response

Midna let out another giggle to see this wolf was so amazed and surprised by this double as it was an exact double of him, then the question came what things it can do and if it was alive or not and just nodded her head at him. "Yep, that double of yours is a living-breathing thing and remembers pretty much everything you know of. Though it lacks in a personality kind of, that's where you come in." She sat as she began to sit down and looked at the two for a moment as they both looked like identical twins if anyone saw them.
"By being with the shape it was created by it will learn how to act exactly like yourself in many different ways, just like mine." She said as she focused her powers on her own shadow as it began to form into a duplicate of herself which had shook herself off and let out a grunt at Midna. "You know, you can let me have some more freedom time once in a while there!" The double told her as she sat down and began to itch a scratch on her back as Midna just let out a very soft giggle as she looked back at Shadow again. "Like I said, your exact personality."

"Oh, so it's me." Shadow said mildly. My own personality...... "Hi?" He asked of the shadow-wolf. "Hey" Was his reply. "Wow, this is kind of awkward, talking to yourself" He said to Midna. The shadow-Shadow got up and started pacing the small area that they were in, sniffing everyone in turn. "Does he have my powers?" Shadow, the real one, asked. After all, it might get annoying having yourself appear in front of you and what not. He watched his duplicate constantly, and after a while said duplicate did the same. So there they sat, caught in some weird staring contest with them self. Even weirder, however, was that they both blinked at the same time, and both started laughing at the same time. Neither knew what was funny, but it just seemed normal to laugh after losing in a staring contest with your self. After a few minutes, they both stopped, also at the same time. "Wow" They said, in unison.

the real Midna just made a small shrug when she was told that with the Shadow-Midna telling the real Shadow the explination. "Well, he will know at the very least half of them if you don't train him enough. He's just really a pup that needs training is all he is really." Soon enough the second figure just stopped talking as it began to move towards the real Midna as they saw that the two did practically everything with one another which had made the two female wolves giggle and stop at the same time before looking at the two boys again.
"Like I said before Shadow, this double and is a living, breathing thing. This also means that it can even breed with others which you have to be careful with." She said in a warning tone of voice as she knew that soon enough females like herself and her shadow double would be going in Heat soon enough which was usually a crazy time in the year for anyone.

"Huh, just like a pup." Was all Shadow could say. S-Shadow found that conversation much more interesting. "So I can do.....this?" He said, simultaneously turning invisible. He turn visible again, but was green. He then spent almost five minutes changing himself and everything around him different colors, which he found very amusing. Shadow found it funny too, and joined in, returning the sky to a patchwork of color, which his shadow modified to his liking. They could have gone on forever had this been effortless, but that was not true. Soon both were hungry, and couldn't do much else to the landscape. "Maybe we should have thought that one out huh?" Asked S-Shadow. "Oh yes, that would have been a smart idea." He replied. "I'm hungry, lets go eat!" They both said, and randomly loped off into the distance, searching for prey. It was easy, they soon came across a large deer, and separated, circling their soon to be meal. The hunt went smoothly, Shadow charged from one side, herding the deer towards his shadow, who neatly hamstringed it, causing it to collapse. Shadow then killed it with a well placed bite-n-tear to the throat. They both ate ravenously, clearly hungry after all the energy they had put into the landscape and the hunt itself.

Midna and her duplicate just watched the other two sucessfully catch a deer and were now ripping the body to shreds and barely chewing the meat in their mouths. The two soon looked at one another before they began to turn into shadows themselves and began to go down the hillside to the two males and what was left of the deer, they then turned back into their regular selves as Midna went to Shadow's side and her duplicate went over to more of a open part of the carcass and try to have some bites of the meat, she hadn't eaten for a long time now.
"You see how useful I am?" She asked the male beside her, but then she decided to answer for him. "I can make your shadow come to life and help you out, as well I make great back up as well a friend." She said as she made a giggle to him, but then made a sigh as her ears went low. Which is why I need to ask you something." She told him as she closed her eyes for a moment and taking a deep breath as she just stared at the ground under her feet. "Do you mind if I, erm.... stay with you for a bit?" She asked the male as she looked back at him with a nervous face to see if he would allow it or not.

Shadow was still running on adrenaline, he didn't even think out what could happen if he had another wolf with him, he just answered. "I don't see why not. You are right after all, its much easier to hunt with someone else who knows exactly what you are planning as soon as you plan it." S-Shadow just nodded his head in agreement, he was still to busy eating. "I just set up a new den over that way," He said, flicking his ears in a general northward direction, "before I started.....erm.....following you." He finished, letting out an embarrassed chuckle and shifting his gaze away from the group. It is kind of awkward when you admit to stalking someone, even if you don't call it 'stalking'. He studied the surrounding area with mock interest, waiting for her response. The study did lead to some useful info though, such as the nearest part of the river and the closest part of the forest. Other than that it was just a way to avoid the others (except his shadow's) stare. He had this absurd feeling that they were looking at him accusingly, or even with open hostility. Shadow silently hoped this wasn't true though, making friends is easy, re-making them isn't.

Midna just began to raise a brow at the real Shadow as she knew that he was playing tricks on her and such, though she began to wonder how long this wolf had been watching her. Though that question was pushed aside in her mind as she began to make a grin to him and nodded at him. "That sounds great, thank you for allowing us to stay for the time being." She said as she made a polite bow to him, her double just looked up as her muzzle was just covered in blood as she was overly-enjoying herself in her eating.
"Ya, and thanks for the food too." She said as she began to munch away and rip apart the meat and crunch on the bones as he head was in the inside of the carcass and eating away even more like a starving caterpillar on a thick, juicy leaf. Midna just sighed as she looked back at Shadow again. "I'm sorry about my shadow's behavior, she hasn't been out and alive for a couple of weeks and is starving." She said as she practically just looked at herself eat like a maniac and made a face of disgust, but it was her fault in a way.

Shadow relaxed after no one mentioned what he had said. He figured that, while it might not be forgiven, it was at least forgotten... for now. "No problem, and I don't mind that much, after all, mine's never eaten." He had eaten his fill, so he couldn't think of much else to do. "Hey, I probably should mention how far away the den is. It's far, we should probably get going if we want to beat the sun." He said, watching the sun sink lower with apprehension. His powers worked in relation to the sun, so they were almost useless at night, and that always made him fidgety. S-Shadow started getting fidgety too, and was finding it harder and harder to eat. "Yeah, I think I would feel better with something over my head" He said, getting up and starting to pace around the group

Midna and her duplicate didn't really care much if it turned to night time before they got there, they both really enjoyed the starry skies and the darkness, it made them feel relaxed and comfortable to be out in the night which was one of the reasons that they never bothered to make a den for themselves. They both just looked at the other males as one of them began to pace around.
Midna and her duplicate had filled themselves to their liking despite Midna only eating a small amount of flesh and began to walk up to each of the boys with a grin on their faces, though those grins vanished when their bodies turned black in color and transformed into the male's shadows. "We are a bit slow when it comes to running so we are gonna be your shadows for a bit." confessed Midna as the two waited for the two males to go

Both Shadows nodded as the two Midnas changed form. With a barely perceptible nod from the duplicate, they set off. They started slow, getting their bearing and lining up with the cave that had served as his they're home for a few days. After that was done, they set off at a trot, slowly moving up to a steady lope. After about three minutes of running, both wolves froze. In the nearby woodland, something moved. It was easy to make out in the failing light; a wolf. After a moment, more followed, and soon a large group of wolves was out in the field. Both Shadows shifted, refracting the light away from their bodies save two small spots for the pupils. The patrol of wolves, presumably form Hunterpack, passed slowly across the terrain, checking every niche and groove for signs of other wolves. "Don't.........move." Shadow whispered. It seemed like a year before the wolves made it out of sight, but it was probably no more than fifteen minutes. S-Shadow started moving first, taking a few tentative forward, then setting of at the same lope they were at before. Shadow was right behind him, his heart hammering from the shock. Another reminder of how evil they are. He thought

The two Midnas just watched what had just happened which had gave them quite spook, they never liked the Hunter pack ever since she realized what they do to other poor wolves with powers, Midna loved her powers and had gotten used to them as well, and there was going to be no way that she was going to let those scum get hold of her precious powers, she will never.
She just looked at the other three despite her duplicate being a shadow and sighed a little bit, she was becoming a bit impatient from no one talking and just looked up at the male she was attached to and decided to make a conversation. "By the way, I don't think we were properly introduced ourselves to each other, I'm Midna." She told him as she gave off another grin though it was completely invisible to the male.

As the ground blurred past, Shadow's shadow spoke up. "I'm Shadow, nice to meet you." He said, a faint glimmer of a smirk forming on his maw. Almost as soon as he said it, the stopped at a random hill, identical to all others around it. "We're here" S-Shadow said in an annoying lilting voice. Both of them started circling the random lump of dirt and rock, searching for a specific spot. It took almost five minutes to find said point, and it was S-Shadow who found it. 'It' was on the west side of the hill, and appeared to be nothing more than a soft patch of grass. It was in fact a large mossy boulder though. He nudged himself through an opening just large enough to accommodate a wolf. Shadow went around and found him sticking halfway out of the hillside. "It's over here you two." He said, trying to make it loud enough to be heard but quiet enough to avoid attracting more Hunterpack patrols. S-Shadow finished worming his way in, and Shadow followed, with a bit more grace from more practice. After getting through the hole, he was in a small passageway, also requiring you to crawl. At the end of that was a medium sized cavern that could hold five or six wolves comfortably.

Of course when the boys were doing all of this the girls didn't help out one little bit. Of course they didn't want to get in the way or anything of what they were doing, plus they didn't want to have any more Hunterpacks in the area to search for them, why would they need all of that stress when they just got to this Nice wolf's den?
It took a little while for the males to get into their den, but soon enough they were in a large area inside the hill and both females turned into their regular selves with both of them by the male's sides. "Nice work, for a wolf that made this and began to watch over me like a hawk watching its prey." The real Midna said as made a wink to the real Shadow she left the male's side and began walking around the den.
"Well I dunno about you Midna, but I think it looks perfect." S-Midna said as she brushed S-Shadows side slightly before she went up to the real Midna's side and soon both sat down looking at both of the males to see if they maybe had something in mind what to do.

Shadow's new roommates seemed happy with their new den. "Oh, I didn't make it, its a natural cave." He said. S-Shadow had to suppress a shiver when S-Midna rubbed up against him slightly, though he couldn't tell why. Shadow padded over to a small niche where he had collected a large mass of soft moss and other random litter off the ground. "Yeah, we might need some more beds." He said. "You wouldn't mind finding some, would you Shadow?" Shadow asked. That might get confusing. He thought "Hey, why not just call me something else?" S-Shadow said, thinking the same thought. "Like...um...Midnight! Yeah, thats a good name!" He was obviously happy about his decision, and he wiggled his way through the tunnel with enthusiasm. After getting out of the slightly cramped tunnel, Midnight trotted toward the forest and sniffed under everything for fresh moss. He found it, and gathered up as much as he can and started back, his mouth full of moss.
