Sliver's ears pricked. A voice had come from her Kagami's direction, but he had a semi-good view of her, and she had not said a word. "Huh, its one thing to here someone tell you their reflection talk, but when hear it talk, you know they aren't crazy." He said in between bites. He was quickly finished eating the fish, and he went back up to her. A large mass of clouds were building on the horizon, and he could tell that rain would be one of the things that would come out of it. He chose not to voice this however, as it would take some time before the rain actually started. He licked a paw and ran it over his ear a couple of times, then lay down in his original spot. "So, how's life been for you recently?" He asked, trying to keep their conversation going.

"I can't really make any complaints," Kagami answered. "I've been able to find food, so I haven't had to put up with hunger for a while now. You're actually the first other wolf to speak to me in a long time, so that's good. Being all by yourself isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Sometimes, when I travel, I almost start praying to see another wolf just so that I have someone to really talk to." She was glad to finally talk to someone after spending most of her life alone. It was nice being able to talk to her reflection, but it was even nicer to talk to a different wolf that wasn't just an manifestation of her innermost thoughts and feelings. She loved that she was finally able to talk to someone who was different from her; it made her feel much less alone.

"Good. It's always good when life is treating you well." Sliver said. She was talking much more openly now, and he could tell that she wasn't kidding about solitude not being all its cracked up to be. He had never been alone for long, so he had no idea just what she could have gone through. "It's also nice to have a place to call home. A nice little cubby hole that no one knows about but you." He said. It wasn't something you would normally say to someone, but it was true. Having a place familiar to you that you can return to every night always makes things seem less of a problem for some reason. He could tell that something like that would be good for her, someone who probably is always on the move. She could use a family as well, someone she could focus her attention on to keep her mind off her worries, but that was her thing. She would have to find someone on her own time, and without help.

"Yeah," she mumbled quietly. It would be nice to have a home; a familiar place that she could just feel safe in. The one thing that she really wanted, though, was a family. She had never actually had one, and if she did, she couldn't remember it. She had been very young when her mother and father had died. She'd been a single pup as well; having no siblings of her own. She longed to know what it was really like to have someone to protect and look after. She wanted more than anything to have someone who loved her; someone to help her if she needed it, and someone that she could help if needed.
"So, how have things been with you?" she asked, interrupting her own thoughts. She felt that getting to know Silver better would help her to feel more comfortable when it came to talking to him.

Sliver just sat there and watched her think. After a few moments she asked him how he's been doing. "I've been okay. Haven't been over on the mainland recently though. I'm glad you came when you did though, I was getting restless from not talking with anyone in a while." He said. " No one's been near this side of the island in a while. They usually stick to the opposite end, closer to the mainland." It made sense, after all, when you want to get back, would you want to run across the island, then swim back? He said nothing else, as very little of any excitement actually happens on a random island in the middle of no where. He just sat and waited, watching as the sun worked its way down to the horizon, and as the clouds that had once been on the horizon moved threateningly across the sky

"I guess that would make sense. I always prefer putting in a bit of extra effort for some reason, though," Kagami answered. She knew why, but she didn't feel like saying it. She always tried to go as far away as she could go in attempts to avoid enemies. That came with a price, though; she hardly ever had any contact with others. She hated feeling afraid all the time, and just wished that the fear would go away for good one day. However, due to the fear coming from when she was young, it was very difficult for her to stop feeling scared. She'd lived with it for so long that it had become like a part of her, and she hated it. She looked up at the sky as well, observing the clouds. She had a feeling that it might wind up being a stormy night tonight, but she hoped that it wouldn't; she was never very fond of stormy weather.
