xooc] I'm just going to use my example post for this one, because I like it too much to just let it be used for only that xD
xic]
’Ooh, poor little Rhea all lost and confused! Come a little closer and I’ll remedy that sweet little sister.’ Hissed the venomously cruel voice in her head. For a while, she’d been able to suppress the twisted loathing and happy thoughts from her head. But as ‘Cynder’ or, better known as Rhea in a former life, used it time and time again, it only got harder to block the voices out. To make the images disappear and go away. They came like the weather, different and wavering at unpredictable moments. Some of which she was able to counter and realize before it occurred, like when she saw something that was once familiar to them. That’s right. Those who just so happen to cross path with Cynder throughout her life, and for one reason or another fell victim to her memory theft. In some cases, there was remorse. Like with Virtus.. after all, with some of the situations, it was never meant to happen. It just did. At one point, when she was younger it had been decided that she would never use her ability less it was an emergency. Alas, in her naïve youth she behaved without properly analyzing the situation. Just another lesson in life she’d learned the hard way. Though a great deal of her partially preferred it that way. What sort of life would that be? To have things handed over on a silver platter without working for it. Hmp.
The tall and lean ebony plastered figure snaked her way through the thick undergrowth, repressing the need to stop. For despite the plentiful shade the forest’s towering trees provided so graciously – it only tended to cool it somewhat, and not enough to make mush of a difference. Pale stone hued tipped tail hung low behind her, gentle gray and brownmarked lobes drawn back. Though twisting foreword now and again in a twitch from the sounds that echoed around and about in the near jungle like terrain. Low rays of light piercing through the gaps of branches and leaves, staining the earthen floor unevenly all about. Cynder’s violet eyes grazing either side of herself before she was willing to stop near the base of a rotting log. A tiring sensation creeping up in the back of her spine, causing a low growl of irritation to voice itself from her throat before she closed her eyes. Cursing herself for the impatience when the young boy like voice chimed as clear as crystal within her own skull. ’I’m sorry Sir, I’m just havin’ a hard time wit’ patience is all.’ ”Hard time wit’ patience.” The smooth feminine notes chimed softly, becoming lost in the images that began playing unseen. Frolicking as they awoke in her head. Swallowing hard, her blank glazed look faded from her features, muzzle scrunching as her brow line sunk. Optical lenses narrowing into slits as she jerked her head from side to side violently. ‘See the fire? Look how it burns. Consuming every single thing in it’s path like a plague. Watch it burn.. burn burn burn!’ ”Watch it. Watch it.” She spoke louder this time before catching herself and looking around dazed.
Get a hold of yourself. Your not them. Control yourself you fool! Cynder thought sternly, muscles tensing as she heaved a sigh and took a deep breath from the humid air surrounding her. The fits came regularly, but usually they were spaced out. Which in this case, she hoped it wouldn’t happen again for while. One could never imagine the confusion that took place when you started believing you were someone else – not just someone else. But a different size, age or gender as well. The mind, despite being such an overpowering tool could be quite the burden sometimes. A malevolent cruel burden as far as Cynder was concerned. Hell, if a brain wasn’t required for living – she’d as soon do without than with. Just how many years could she continue to put up with this before she became lost in it? Or maybe she was lost already. What a thought, and oh how she hated to think. To remember. Memories were perhaps the most maniacal poison yet.

ooc: my muse level is like..not very high. this post will probably be very crappy...i might get it back after a few posts though
Ryuk had been wandering through the neutral lands, trying to find some wolves that she could possibly get to turn evil. She wanted to make Hunterpack bigger and better. Or, maybe she just wanted to kill. She wanted to do both right about then but she picked the urge that was stronger. And right now, the urge to kill was stronger.
As the she-wolf moved through the shadows of the forest, she heard the sound of another wolf . She rolled her eyes and sighed. Talking to herself or what? Ryuk laughed quietly and headed toward the direction of the other. Finally, she got close enough to she the other she-wolf.
"Hello?" Ryuk asked and stepped out of the giant clumps of trees she was just in. "Who are you? How come your alone?" She asked evilly. This might be fun...I wonder how I should kill her.... She thought and then watched and waited for the other wolf's anwer.

The small silver lithe wolf walked out. Her crimson eyes gleaming with interest. If this was going to turn out into a fight, then Rain had to be there. She sighed, closing her deadly crimson eyes as she walked closer to the other wolves. She noticed that one of them was a loner. Like her. Smiling wickedly she then answered the pack wolf's question, "She's not alone. I'm with her." Her velvet voice was smooth and filled with deadly warning. She sensed the evilness inside the pack wolf as she walked closer to him. Her red eyes were glittering, glossy and filled with curiosity.
"Who are you. And why are you alone?"
Ember asked, the voice only hinting that she wanted to know more. The question was only a set up to know the pack wolf more. It was always useful to find out everything about one before it was time for them to die. The silver wolf, her pelt so clear and filled with stars, and with red and blue markings running down her fur, eyed the pack wolf slowly. 'We both have silver fur with blue and red markings. We both have at least one crimson eye.' Ember waited patiently for the other wolf to answer.
Rain sighed as her heart leaped. How could they look so alike? It was almost impossible. The small wolf looked into the blue and red eyes of the pack wolf. She bared her teeth as she thought of how easily this wolf would be torn to pieces. Because of the muscle that Rain could sense behind that wolf she hoped that this would turn out to be a much harder fight then normal. If it turned out to be a fight at all...

Ryuk turned her head to watch the tiny wolf that appeared out of nowhere. She glared at her as she got closer. She too noticed that they looked the same. Wow. Another wolf like me. Both with red and blue marks and with a crimson eye...Could she be? Nah. It's probably just a coincedence. The large she-wolf thought to herself. Then, the words of the tiny she-wolf reached her.
"What's it to ya? And, I'm alone because I'm a loner! You of all wolves should know that!" Ryuk scoffed. She looked over the small wolf again. She had to atleast be half the size of Ryuk. She started thinking the same thing. If this becomes a fight, I'm gonna rip that tiny one to shreds. She won't stand a chance. Hah. If she thinks she can beat me...she's so wrong. I'm the most vicious wolf yet. The large wolf let you a laugh.
"So. Who are YOU? I'm assuming you must be a loner, am I right?" She asked in an impatient tone. Then, her gaze darted back to the other wolf. "Well? Who are you?" She asked. Then, she decided she would let the others know her name. "If you really want to know....I'm Ryuk. You know like the Death-God."

[The monster behind the pelt]
Rain answered the question immediately, "Rain, or Ember, loner. For the crimson eyes; I'm Ember. For my pelt; I'm Rain." She growled. The crimson eyes flickered back and forwarded as she touched a tiny rock with her paw as she closed her eyes. A fire began to form on top of the stone; her crimson eyes now burned with a new fire. She smiled wickedly as she smiled the fire toned down. As she whispered in her smooth voice, "Sorry; it's hard to control fire."
[soo wrong] Rain, small and wicked looked at Ryuk. Her eyes narrowed as she growled, "You think that I can't do anything to you? You think that you're more vicious than me? You're wrong. Big time." She flicked her long bushy tail as the small figure sat down. The icy red eyes glittered mischievously as she waited for the big wolf's reply. It was easy to be the smallest member, wolf, of the forest.
[rain falls down] The rain dripped down, slowly not drenching the wolves yet. The silver pelt turned into a gray pool. Strangely, the fur was not getting wet... Yet; it was Rain who made the rain, so why would the rain wet it's producer?

"Well, I can tell." Ryuk said. "I was named Ryuk after the Death-God because I'm so vicious and evil." She growled loud enough for the world to hear. "And seriously...can you like read my thoughts or something?" She narrowed her eyes and waited. For a moment, her gaze darted toward the other wolf. Ryuk wondered if she was getting bothered by the conversation going on between her and Ember.
"So Ember. What makes you come out here? I know you wern't with that one the whole time." Ryuk said making a gesture toward the Cynder. "You coming along to try to save her? Huh shrimp? Well too bad. And if your trying to pry into my life you can't! So maybe you should just go back to where you came from and leave me to take care of her." Ryuk's ears were pinned back to her head, her eyes still narrowed, and she was growling and it looked like she was about to attack.
Ryuk flicked her tail and she and Ember were surrounded by an impenetrable wall of flames and smoke. She moved her head slightly and what seemed like a noose of smoke was around the small wolf's neck. As she backed up a bit the noose tightened slightly. For some reason Ryuk was pissed of at the smaller wolf and since she was pissed all her mind was saying was to kill Ember. And that's what she intended on doing.

[water beats fire] The wolf grinned. This was going to be interesting. Ember sighed softly as her velvet voice continued, "No, my powers are to do with fire and water fool." She nodded towards the other loner, "Life makes me come. I know, I was trying to go and talk to her. No, I'm perfectly capable of killing; I'm sure Cynder can do the same scum. Hm, why should I leave when this is getting fun?" She felt no anger inside of her as the smoke wrapped around her neck. Smiling sheepishly the rain from the clouds strengthened. It was time for fire to be defeated. She was aware of the fire slowly disappearing, but she didn't care. Rain loved the water, she decided to add a bit more just to make things fun. The water washed away the flames and chased the smoke away. She decided that it was time to do some tricks. The rain now was gone, as her own thoughts came in mind. Snow. It was snowing hard. There was a visibility point up to a foot for most wolves, but for her, she could see as clear as a bell. It was time to spice things up now.
[anger, no way]
"Are you done being angry with me now? Or is that impossible for you?" She smirked. Rain was calm, there was no spark of anger inside of her. She added a bit more hail to the storm as she bended and twisted the water to only land and effect Ryuk. She gave a tiny smile to Cynder. The wolf was not drenched in water, but she was sure that Ryuk was. Her crimson eyes focused on the center of the snow, as she turned that into hail. She aimed on hitting the other wolf's neck. Ryuk wasn't too happy now. But, she relaxed a bit. Even when it started to snow and hail. Once the rain stopped and the snow and hail started, her fur became dry. Also, as the snow built up on the ground around her it just melted away leaving no trace it had been there. Ryuk took a few steps closer and the snow on the ground ahead of and beneath her melted while it piled up where she had been. Sure her fire and smoke were gone but she could do the same for whatever Ember had. "Heh. This is all you've got?" Ryuk started to taunt the other she-wolf. "Don't you have anything better then that?" She stopped and waited to see what would happen yet. But suddenly, a strange picture appeared in her head. Herself and another pup looking like Ember were sleeping next to what looked like Ryuk's mother. Then, another where the two pups were playing and running about happily. "What?!" Ryuk said aloud to what she was seeing. "It can't...who is that? I know I don't have any siblings..." As quickly as it came the images disappeared leaving her to concentrate on Ember again. She had a sudden urge to ask if Ember had any siblings but didn't. Instead she tried to figure out how she could take down her opponent.

xooc] .... I think we should have a posting order. It's a bit hectic for me to go away for a few hours and find a dozen posts I need to read upon returning :x Me, Deathnote then Ember yes? Also Ember, in one of your posts you refer to Cynder by her name, but she hasn't given it yet...
xic]
If they knew.
If they knew, things might've gone differently. If they'd known, perhaps Cynder might have managed to be a least a little civil. But things don't always go the way one might have intended. Talking to herself? Quite so, but if one was aware of Cynder's screwed up case, they might have thought differently about sneaking up out of now where. Things like that, well..they never went too well with a borderline nut case. Especially one that suffered from identity crises's on a daily basis. The sudden voice creeping from the shadows caused Cynder's head to lift, livid violet pools snapping to attention to lay fixated on the source of the musing words. Fur coated crown pivoted towards Ryuk's direction as the she wolf fell away from the darkness and into the light. Pointed set of ears seemed to rotate back and slap against the back of her own head softly, gluing down tightly to reveal her uncertainly and unease towards the stranger. The brow line adorning her canine features furrowed while her ebony pelted muzzle wrinkled, but only ever so slightly; it was as if the black hued minx was waging some silent debate in her thoughts as how just to react and face this female. It was Ryuk's tone that would trigger the final decision. That slight note hit when she inquired as to why Cynder was alone. Now, Cynder could've simply made some snippy come back. Heck, she could've said a thousand things to convey her opinion at this very moment, but it wouldn't of done her feelings justice. Looks like the wretches come out to play early around here.. A voice chimed in her skull, this one strongly resembling Celosia's bitter and cruel tones. If it was Celosia standing here, she wouldn't have hesitated to jump into the fray and spill blood. But it was Cynder's own consciousness that held control over her now, not the distorted memories.
"You should watch that nose of yours, it's not healthy to go prodding about where it's not wanted." Vehement notes retorted sharply and firmly, her neck drew back just a bit. scrunching up her nape for protection while the rest of her body instinctively shifted into a defensive stance. Limbs spread evenly for an appropriate balance; should the need of quick movement arise. Her tail hung frozen - not out of fear but close to the right side of her flank so as to prevent it from being targeted. Muscles did not grow taut however, as Cynder was well aware that if she needed to strike, it was better to have a relaxed system to start with then a tense one that might cause cramping or any other stupid and blunt mistakes. The fur along her spine bristled as a common reaction when another figure came out of the surrounding tree line to appear. This wolf however, was seemingly going to Cynder's defense. While the notion was appreciated, Cynder could not say she welcomed the gesture entirely. After all, this was a stranger, an unfamiliar; as far as she knew the others where in on it. A small tingle shivered along her sides, and Cynder immediately side stepped to stand at a certain angle. Aiming to distance herself comfortably from the others, but not too far either. However, this way Cynder felt she would be able to watch the three more carefully. While some may of considered the move a sign of cowardice, Cynder thought the move a logic one. It was better to examine your opponents first from a distance before going in for the attack. Should a physical conflict break out, Cynder was more than capable of holding her own ground - that much she knew only too well. "Appreciated, but not needed." She answered with a blatant air of disregard towards them both.
Shoulder joints rolled foreword to continue her defensive status while her head lowered, jaw leveling with her chest. A sly grin could not help but escape her composed stature and paint it's way onto her facial features in amusement towards Ryuk's impatience. A pity, here Cynder was thinking she might get an actual challenge. No.. not Cynder, Celosia. Had she really been so careless as to not realize it was Celosia's memories that caused her to react so? The change between subconsciousness had been so subtle that Cynder had not even noticed Celosia's quiet urges, leading Cynder in such a direction. Still, nothing could of warned the dark furred wolf fo what was to happen next. It would appear she needn't speak at all, for without warning it had begun to rain. The two- Ryuk and Ember had become engaged in a verbal arguement - practically leaving Cynder to stand on the side lines and watch observantly. This wasn't her fight and these weren't her friends. So why bother jumping into the fray then? Although her disposition did not change, her face became one of placid calmness. Examining every inch she could of either wolf when the flames sprung to live, enveloping in a circle around the pair. Drawing her head up a bit, her eyes narrowed at the flames. A fierce and instantaneous urge to leap through the flame tugged at her gut, but she didn't move. No Celosia.. this isn't my fight. She hissed silently in her head.
As the clouds became forging over head above the tree tops, Cynder's mind calculated that it was not Ryuk producing the sudden change in weather but Rain. When the cool liquid began to difuse the ring of scorching heat and fire, Cynder took another step back, this time though merely to avoid the pluming smoke that arose from dousing the flames. Pah, this could go one forever.. You couldn't imagine how tempting it was for Cynder to not just waltz up on the two and erase their memories of the last few moments. Then again, doing so might just result in them repeating the childish behavior. You could always make them think they where hunting for flowers.. Celosia's subconscious added viciously, but Cynder was quick to brush to malevolent thoughts away. No... for now she wait. But it would nearly seem that her presence wasn't really required any longer, and so she remained in place. Deciding to wait on the opportune moment to simply leave them to their squabbles. Rain smirked, she laughed. Making it rain once more; Ember was finally on top of the floor. Then the imagine came.
"Shut up you two! How can a she-wolf get some rest with you blabbing?" The mother asked. Rain looked up at the bigger wolf, the one that looked exactly like her. Rain replied softly, "Sorry." She expected the other wolf, looking exactly like her in color to respond. The wolf ignored the grown up-wolf.
Rain yelped in surprise, this was not possible. She had siblings, but none of them looked exactly like her. No, no one in her family looked like her. She growled in anger, "That's not possible! I had a family that looked nothing like me! It's a trick!" She turned around to the other wolf. Narrowing her eyes she then accused her.
"Stop playing tricks on my mind!"
She made the rain fall down harder, drenching her. Rain didn't mind. Ember's crimson eyes narrowed in anger as she screamed. The scream was barely loud enough for them to hear. The rain responded the she-wolf's wishes.
It bended to wrap around Ryuk and Cynder's necks. She pulled it tighter, only slightly. She then told Ryuk, "She's playing with our thoughts!" Advancing in anger, there was a sudden flame that began to erupt in her mind. This was not possible.
What kind of powers does she have?

Ryuk looked at Ember then to the other wolf. "She is. There is no way I have any siblings! My parents would have told me about it if I did!" Now, her anger was centered on the other she-wolf who was just sitting there. She quickly glanced toward Ember. "Let me go. I have no urge to kill you anymore...and you can trust me on that. It's her..." The large wolf got another image in her head but she managed to push it away. Taking a few steps closer towards the sitting wolf she said "No one messes with my mind. Especially some worthless piece of scum like you!" Ryuk stood and looked back at Rain. She didn't know what the restrictions were on her little band of rain that was wrapped around her body. "Let me go. Now." It was not quiet so demanding this time. Ryuk tried to use her fire powers use get rid of the water but it only caused a lot of smoke to fill the air. The large wolf breathed in the smoke like it was regular air. She doubted the others could breath in the smoke and it not bother them. Well. Maybe the small one but not the other one. Oh well. Too bad for her. Then, looking back at Rain she asked "Are you in? I think we need to take care of this one here. Playing games with our minds like that. Hah. Like I said, no one plays games with Ryuk's mind!" She growled loudly and that made her even more enraged.

xooc] Sorry for the wait guys, but today's been rather hectic. I'll finish this later tonight as soon as I can
EDIT: There, done. Sorry it's short, I'm kinda losing muse for this thread. I'm assuming the memories and flame are just old memories resurfacing in their minds? Because Cynder hasn't done anything yet.
xic]
Cynder has been so pre-occupied watching the show, that she'd completely missed the most obvious and blatant tell tale factor above all. The pair looked exactly alike. This brought her to subconsciously believe that the pair knew each other before now, and thus she hadn't really dwelled on the matter. But it seemed she was wrong, for no sooner had the she wolf come to this epiphany than did the two canines turn their attention back towards her again; this time rather aggressively. For a moment she listened to their wild and false accusations with a calm clarity, but a part of her would not simply stand by either to be blamed for an action she did not commit. As one called upon the rain, violet eyes went from one to the other. The cold deathly grip of freezing rain never seemed to bother Cynder however, though ones thick locks of fur increased come the appropriate season, it did not entirely prevent you from feeling the numb touch. Nonetheless, Cynder found that being the object of a little water than having her fur scorched was much more appealing.
However upon seeing the smoke begin to take form, the well built canine reacted with her natural instincts and jumped to the side to avoid having the noose placed around her neck. What the hell was wrong with these two? Muzzle wrinkled in utter detest, a deep vibrating snarl rupturing forth from her trap, the fur along her spinal region stood fully on end in fury. "Are you two so dense that you can't see the facts when your staring them in the face? She growled pugnaciously. Even a set of naive pups could've figured it out by now. But while Cynder understood what these two obviously did not, that did not mean she was going to stand by idly either while being threatened. If they thought she was interfering with their memories now just wait until Cynder actually did something. "I don't know what you two fools are blathering on about, but I haven't done a thing. If I had, you wouldn't have a single dejected memory left in your body." Cynder proclaimed with a more flat tone than before, each word laced with a firm sense of confidence. It was the first time in Cynder's life she'd ever spoken with such an assuredly nature about her own ability before. [/size][/color]

The silver wolf, let go of her grasp around Ryuk and then growled. Her fur thick with the smoke covering her as she started, began, to look at Cynder with her eyes wide. Growling, she commanded, "What do you mean?" Her eyes, bright red then looked at Ryuk and asked, "What is she saying?" Turning her gaze she then tensed, getting ready to strike.
Then the words hit her. She had a memory she then pulled the rope of rain around Cynder's neck tighter. She then growled, spat as she spoke, "Liar. You're going to die. You're.." Her claws, the rain. It was freezing now. Frozen rain was landing turning everything around them to ice. Well, except everything around Ryuk. [/color]

Ryuk looked at Ember and said "I think she's saying she not the one whose making us think those things. I doubt it. She's lying." She growled, turning to Cynder. Her eyes narrowed. "Yes. You are lying. You did make us think those things!" She was getting more mad. A ring of fire shot up circling the other wolf. This time she was focused so the fire didn't let up until she let it. No amount of frozen rain made the circle of fire deteriorate. "No escapes us now." Ryuk looked to Ember to see what she was going to do next but stil concentrating on the fire. A loud growled started in her throat. She was pissed off. But then a thought struck her. "You know Ember. What if she didn't make us think those things? What if it means...well..." Her voice trailed off and she looked down at the ground. She was thinknig about it for a moment. During that one moment, however, ring of fire started to me destroyed by the freezing rain.
