Sliver wandered across the island, bored out of his mind. It was sunny out, though threatening clouds were forming on the horizon. With nothing better to do, Sliver leaped into the sea and went under, searching for any fish that he could eat. He spotted one, and swam towards it. He hooked left to cut it off, but he missed by a few inches. Sliver sighed, bubbles escaping his maw, and started back towards the surface. The clouds were more prominent now, and Sliver could smell the storm as he broke the surface and headed for shore. Sliver hauled himself onto the sandy beach, and started the trek back inland when he had an idea. "I bet I could sleep out at sea" He said to nobody, and turned around. He went back out and found himself a nice little nook that would hold his back just out of the water. Curling into a ball, Sliver put his tail on the shore and closed his eyes.

MIYA
Brown eyes scanned the area with ease. Her paw steps making large prints in the soft, warm sand. She lifted her muzzle and scented the air. The scents of ocean water and...a wolf cross her nose. Miya pricked her ears and looked around. She didn't see the wolf yet, but she could surely scent him. Her white fur ruffled in the wind as she moved along. The Sandy Island was a beautiful place, especially at night. Small grains of sand flew in the air as she walked. Her tail swishing behind her. She loved to swim, just not in the ocean. She was always afraid that she would get drifted away from the strong current in the large body of water. Just like she almost did when she was a pup.
Miya slowed down as sh caught sight of the wolf she had scented not long ago. He was sleeping soundly. The white fae smiled and a moment later she was gone. Invisible. No literally. She broke into a run and splash into the water. Sending large droplets onto the wolf.

Sliver was jolted awake by a sudden splashing and him getting soaked. He immediately leaped onto dry land and scanned the surrounding area for the disturbance. He couldn't see anything, but just to make sure it wasn't a fish or something, he kicked up some waves. It was at this time that Sliver noticed that the clouds were moving across the sky. He sat there, waiting for the rude awakener to show their self and for the storm to break. When the rain did come, it carried the chill of winter and Sliver became cold quickly. "Forget it, this isn't worth my time." He thought aloud as he turned around, the waves carrying on from the storm. Sliver went into a small cluster of trees and hid in the brush, waiting to see what happens. As he watched, Sliver noticed several paw prints from a wolf. If there was another wolf here, where did it go? He thought to himself.
