Lost in the Dark {ADOPTABLE}

Elemental Power: Lightning
Powers: Xannon has the ability to cause lightning to strike out from the sky at any given time as well as create a small electric shock wave. This spreads out in every direction, starting from a small circle which grows larger. At this age however, it can only extend to a full fifteen feet radius. In addition, his pelt is covered in a layer of small electric atoms, which at this point in his life; being so young would only cause a small shock and nothing serious if he's touched. However, if he does not learn to control his powers, physicial contact in the future will be nearly impossible.

Description: Xannon inherited more of his father's looks, rather than his mother's. His fur mostly contains shades between tawny and brown with a few patches of black sprouting here or there. The main consistency of which is a smooth glossy brown overtone, while his pelt lightens while it decends down his legs and to the end of his paws. Streaks of black rest against the flesh near his upper leg, as well as Xannon's shoulders head and lower jaw. The pups nose is painted in a rich velvety onyx, while the fur which bristles over his entire mass is thick and course. Often swaying and sifting with the slightest breeze that might dare to caress him. However, above these tones of color there is one that stands out far above the rest. Two similar, vivid and bright yellow eyes adorn his facial features. However they are known to flash the palest of whites when extending his abilities into use. Because he is so young, Xannon's full physical potential is not yet reached.

He still maintains that slight pup girth that most wolf cubs are born with, but it not without his own strengths. Despite being only 3 months of age, Xannon can be very quick on his feet. Xannon has a bit of a thick but lean frame, which upon entering adulthood will now doubt give him a strong body to contest with. The most noticeable factor of his features would be that light crackle and shimmer that covered his entire mass. A faint layer of electricity coats his body, and often emits sparks here or there. As a result, the back and side of his fur is often standing on end. The manner in which Xannon carries himself is not that of your average pup or even a loner. Quite contrary, it is confident and head strong. The canine's features appealing in a rather noble nature, despite how small he is, and how little he might know.

Personality: Because of his youth, one cannot quite say how Xannon might end up behaving when he's older. He can act very childish at times, but enjoys over all is a very serious little pup for his age. He does not nessicarily think before acting, but he does at least examine things to a certain degree before deciding on something. Although this could be anywhere between a mere second to a few minutes as Xannon is also highly impatient (except with his mother, because of her circumstances). Sure, like any child Xannon has that meager sense of nativity. Yet that does not stop his mind from growing or expanding in both will and knowledge. He can be a bit skeptic upon first meeting him, and perhaps even a bit disgruntled. Beneath this however Xannon is a fierce ball of fur. The male has a very protective nature over those he cares for most, and will not hesitate to put his life on the line. This does not make him fearless however, merely Xan knows that sometimes there are more important things than himself.

Depending on what mood you catch him in he can vary between a Vain little pup, to an adventurous little scamp. He is not however cruel, and would never intentionally attempt to harm another unless threatened. Though if you somehow manage to get on his bad side, he just might go out of his way to pick on you and try to hurt you for whatever it is you've done. Xannon can prove to be both social, and anti social. He's not fond of bullies, and dislikes pointless acts of rage even more. He’s young, but not without heart. Offenses and insults can be taken both aggressively or perhaps with a cold shoulder. Though in most cases Xannon chooses to ignore other's insults and believes it is not their fault, but their ignorance that makes them speak so. This does not make him high and mighty however, as some words he might take a bit personally. Heck he’s only a kid – not a genius. Big surprise right? But that doesn’t mean Xannon is thick or slow. On the contrary, being quite the bright learner he collects what bits and pieces of knowledge that appear most usual to his own survival.

Added note* This may change or develop further depending on what happens IC and by choice of the role player, but as a pup he is not in any way 'evil' or 'dark'

History: Xannon was born second along side his brother Rasler to Cynder and Acacallis, surprisingly; in a pack. During this time, Xannon could not have had a care in the world. His father Acacallis decided with Cynder's agreement that their pups should be kept unaware of their mother's condition - not only so they wouldn't feel uncomfortable, but also so they would not look upon their mother with disapproving eyes. Acacallis came to accept that Cynder, even at her age; had yet to learn complete control over her powers, so he decided that when Rasler and Xannon's abilities surface; he would train them instead. It was near his second month of life that Xannon first discovered his power. He'd been playing with Rasler in the water when sparks of electricity began to cover his body. That's really when things began to go wrong for the young male..

Blinded by fear, Cynder leapt into the water to pull Rasler out and upon touching his fur had unknowingly triggered her own ability by mere accident. Rasler's memories where lost, and upon seeing the large black wolf hover over him he panicked and struggled. Xannon was clutched with fear and confusion at the time and by reaching an unstable emotional height his shock wave spread out. Everything became a faint blur, and with no control over himself Xannon killed the one wolf he loved most. His brother. Fleeing the water, Acacallis came upon the scene to find Cynder standing over Rasler's limp and soaked body. Furious, Acacallis began yelling and shouting, Xannon did not quite understand what had happened. Was Rasler okay? He was just playing right? It had to have been just a joke, Rasler was always playing dead to try and fool Xan and the other pack pups. Sadly.. this was no rouse. His father blamed Cynder for Rasler's death and declared that she was an unfit mother. Cynder attempted to relay what had really occurred but the male would not listen to reason. Deciding that she was no longer safe, he took Xannon away.`

No pup could have ever felt so numb, Xannon believed. Watching his parents fight while his own flesh and blood lay dead just a mere feet away. Worst of all.. it was his fault. Never before had the pup felt such guilt, and blamed himself ; despite the fact that Cynder had in fact played a role in the death. Xannon was taken away with his father and the pair lived as rogues for a few weeks. But Xannon felt uneasy and restless. He longed for his mother's warmth and comfort, to see Rasler again. Although he could not see his brother, he could at least try to see his mother again couldn't he? Thus it was that deep in the night one eve Xannon slipped away from his father's watchful eyes and wandered out into the world on his own, completely oblivious to just how close he was to finding Cynder after all.

I worked hard on this little guy and want to see him played to his full potential ^^
